Step 1: Access the Hanging Protocol Editor

First, create a new protocol. This opens the Hanging Protocol Editor.

1. Select Settings (top toolbar).
2. Under Preferences, select Hanging Protocols.
3. Select Add. The Hanging Protocol Editor is displayed. ***New Screen with 2 new columns***

   

   Note
   The Editor contains sections that can be customized. Each section will be described in detail later in this handbook. For this exercise, we will complete the following sections only: Protocol Info, Anchor study matching, and Monitors and protocol stages.

   

Using the Hanging Protocol Editor

You can interact with the Hanging Protocol Editor using mouse clicks, touch or a stylus. The Editor uses a descriptive “natural language” to define the hanging protocol rules. The areas you can customize are shown in bold and are highlighted when you hover over them:
